Admission Procedure


1.
The prescribed application form along with the Prospectus may be obtained from the office of the Registrar, on payment of Rs.500/- in cash at the cash counter of Accounts Branch, VSI in person or on payment of Rs.500/- by Demand Draft in favor of VASANTDADA SUGR INSTITUTE payable at Pune on any Nationalized Bank. IPOs & money-orders will not be accepted.

Candidates can download application form here and send the form duly filled to the Registrar office alongwith a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- in favor of VASANTDADA SUGR INSTITUTE payable at Pune on any Nationalized Bank on or before 31st May 2010 [Now extended last date 19th June 2010]. 2.

Candidates should fill in the application form carefully and completely in English. Any deliberate attempt to furnish false information will amount to cancellation of admission at any stage.

3.

The candidates should ensure that all the enclosures are clear and readable and are properly attached to the application form..

4.
No additional documents other than those attached to the original application will be accepted after the last date prescribed for submission of application.
5.
Copies of certificates, marks lists, etc. attached to the application form should be attested by the Principal/Professor of the College/Gazetted Officer/Managing Director of Sugar Factory/Distillery.
6.

The candidate who is sponsored /nominated by a Sugar Factory /Distillery should attach the prescribed nomination form duly filled in and signed by the competent authority of respective sugar factory (Chairman/ Managing Director/ General Manager along-with the seal).

7.
A passport size photograph should be affixed on top of the prescribed application form at the space provided.
8.
Applications completed in all respects along-with the nomination form (wherever applicable) and attested copies of certificates should reach the Institute's office on or before 31st May 2010 [Now extended last date 19th June 2010]..

10.
The acknowledgement card attached with the application form should indicate the candidates address and be affixed with Rs.5/- stamp.
11.
Applications received late and incomplete will not be considered under any circumstances.
12.
Candidates who have appeared for Diploma/Degree examination can also apply. However, the admission is subject to the production of Diploma /Degree passing Certificate/ Marklists.
13.
Applications of candidates who have passed degree examination from the Universities recognized by University Grants Commission, New Delhi only will be considered.
