The Alcohol Technology department is involved in conducting the Post-Graduate Diploma Course of 1 and ½ year’s duration in Industrial Fermentation and Alcohol Technology (DIFAT).[see course details & course contents]
Short-Term Courses The department organizes different Short /Crash Training Programs as well as refresher courses for distillery personnel as per the requirement of the industry. The department has organizes tailor made courses for groups from foreign countries such as Vietnam, Colombia, Bhutan etc. The department has also arranged special courses for Excise officers from Maharashtra, Sikkim etc.
National Level Workshops/ Seminars
The department organizes state as well as national level workshops and seminars on various issues related to the distillery industry.
