Walk in interview for the post of "Junior Research Fellow (JRF) [01 post]" at the Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering Section, VSI to be held on 01st March 2019 at 11:00 a.m.

Minimum starting salary is Rs.1,92,000/- per annum


Job Profile:
Candidate should have to work for development of transgenic sugarcane through various genetic transformation techniques. Candidate will have to work right from collection of material, callus development, vector construction, plasmid isolation, transformation and molecular analysis.


Candidate Profile and Qualification:
M.Sc. (Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Botany)/ BE-Biotech with minimum of three years’ experience in relevant area.


Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in research institutions of repute.


Terms & Conditions:

  • Salary Rs.16,000/- per month (Consolidated).
  • Selected candidate will be required to reside in or near VSI premises.
  • Appointment is on contractual basis for a period of 11 months only.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for appearing for interview.
  • Candidates should bring updated C.V./ resume, original mark sheets/certificates and experience certificates alongwith certified photocopies at the time of interview.
  • Decision of the Institute will be final.
  • Institute reserves the rights to fill or cancel any post or all posts without assigning any reasons thereof.

Job Profile:
1) Knowledge of procurement /purchase of material / department.
2) Candidate should be computer skilled should know word/excel.
3) Should know purchase enquiry, preparation of comparative statement, purchase sanction, purchase order, maintaining purchase register and tender process.
4) Should have fluent spoken/written/communication knowledge in Marathi/English/Hindi.
5) Should have knowledge of online procurement of material.
6) Should have knowledge of e-tendering procedure.


Candidate Profile and Qualification:
(1) Candidate should be graduate preferably in science or commerce with 5 years’ experience OR
(2) Candidate should be Post Graduate in Science or Commerce with 3 years’ experience
(3) Candidate should be Inter CA or inter CMA will be preferred.


Experience:
3 to 5 years experience.
