The major resource of the library includes Books, Journals, ISI Standards, Patents, CD Databases, Conference papers, Proceedings, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Directories, Thesis, Bibliographies, Catalogues, Buyer’s guide etc. so as to meet the specific, current and up-to-date information needs of the users of library.

The information resources of our library is a veritable goldmine for researchers, scholars, engineers, technologists, and planners and of course an invaluable reference material to our staff members and students. These information resources tremendously not only serve Maharashtra sugar industries’ information needs but the Nation’s sugar and allied industries.
The library has become the nation’s leading information resources center for the sugar and allied industries. The library attracts research and academic staff of neighboring educational and research institutions including University of Pune, R & D Organizations, Engineering and Science colleges in and around Pune.
