On receiving request from the scientists, library can undertake a survey of the literature covering a particular subject, such surveys may either be limited, covering only specified sources, or comprehensive, covering all known sources of literature within a specific period.

| Document Delivery Service |
The library has reprographic facility and supplies Xerox copies of literature from the library collection. This is very important to the industry from viewpoint of information dissemination.

| Resource Sharing Services |
The tremendous growth of the published literature has led to the phenomena of information explosion. Such growth has made it very difficult for libraries to maintain comprehensive acquisition of documents. This has led to the role of libraries to provide access to other libraries. For this service library has approach to the other libraries such as British library, NCL, Maratha Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, Agarkar Research Institute etc. to procure the information.

| Internet and Online Facilities |
With the help of Internet facilities, Library provides information by surfing various websites in science and technology including sugarcane and sugar processing industry. Online facilities from the Sugar Industry Abstract, Sugar Online, World Sugar Research Organization, F.O.Lichts, International Sugar Journal etc. were provided to the users.

| CD-ROM Facilities |
The library has CDs of various subjects for information requirement. Out of these CDs of CAB Abstracts are important and covers all the information on Agriculture and Allied disciplines including sugarcane, sugar beet development and processing.

| In-house Database Services |
| The library prepared its own in-house database, which contain bibliographic records of the articles/literatures published in the subject of sugarcane production, sugar processing, by-products etc. which were published by the Indian Scientists, Technologists. |
