Membership Details
Membership for private sugar factories in Maharashtra State and for co-operative and private sugar factories in other States of India.
VSI membership is voluntary.
As resolved in the General Body of the Institute, the area of operation has been expanded to other States. The non-member sugar factories can become members by paying entry fees of Rs.1.50 lacs and Rs. 1.00 per every Quintal of sugar produced. This decision has been intimated to all State Sugar Federations for circulation among sugar factories.
