OOS-Sheti Dnyanyag and Dnyanlaxmi Programs

With the intension to disseminate the technology of advanced sugarcane farming, VSI conducts every year two-programs – ‘Oos-Sheti Dnyanyag’ for male cane farmers and ‘Oos-Sheti Dnyanlaxmi’ for female cane farmers.

Oos-Sheti Dnyanlaxmi
For female farmers [all sugar factories and member factories of Maharashtra State]

This is the 21st year of Oos-Sheti Dnyanyag and 5th of Oos-Sheti Dnyanlaxmi program. In all 9500 farmers received training through these programs. In Oos-Sheti programs, detailed information and guidance is provided to the farmers regarding sugarcane farming with special emphasis on practicals. All farmers those received training in previous programs have expressed immense satisfaction. Trained farmers have implemented farming related advanced technologies and improved per acre yield.
Accommodation and meal is provided by VSI to trainee farmers at Institute’s hostel.
Training material – a bag, booklet, pen and writing pad is also provided by the Institute.
Trainees are requested to come one day prior to the program day at the Institute’s Manjari hostel.
Training Fees – Rs.1000/- per trainee
[Excluding the cost of person accompanying female trainee, if so then Rs,125/- per person per day will be charged]
List of trainee names and corresponding total fees can be sent by Demand Draft (D.D.) in favor of Vasantdada Sugar Institute payable at Pune.
We invite all sugar factories, male and female sugarcane farmers to attend these programs and get the benefit of training.
