Human Resource Development

VSI offers a multitude of academic programs - both short-term and long-term - designed to upgrade and enhance the skills of Sugar Industry personnel. These include post-graduate diploma and certificate courses in Sugar Technology, Alcohol and Fermentation Technology, Sugar Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer and Microprocessor and Instrumentation. Several short-term training programs are offered during off-season which aims at improving the competence of mangers, technologists, workers and farmers. Special need-based programs are mounted at the request of clients. Over 3000 professionals from India and abroad have so far been bestowed with VSI diplomas and certificates.
