Oos-sheti Dnyanyag and Dnyanlaxmi Training Programs Organized by VSI, June-July, and Nov-Dec Every year

VSI every year organizes Oos-Sheti Dnyanyag and Oos-Sheti Dnyanlaxmi training program for men as well as women sugarcane growers respectively in Half-yearly manner - June-July and November-December. Main objective of this program is to disseminate the knowledge among sugarcane growers related to advanced technologies of sugarcane farming and its actual implementation. This is the 35^th year of Oos-Sheti Dnyanyag and 19^th year of Oos-Sheti Dnyanlaxmi program and about 27120 farmers have benefitted so far. In this program, detailed guidance on advanced technologies of sugarcane farming is provided along with practicals and demonstrations. Trained farmers implemented the knowledge gained by this program and improved per hectare sugarcane yield. Maximum men as well as women sugarcane growers within the operational area of sugar factories should take benefit of Oos-Sheti Dnyanyag and Oos-Sheti Dnyanlaxmi training programs. Accommodation and Food arrangements are made at Institute hostel. Institute also provides Certificate and Group photograph along with a seminar bag, booklet, pen and notepad. Trainees are requested to come at the hostel located at Manjari one day before their training commencement date.

Training fee: Rs.4000/- per trainee
Please Note that Rs.400/- will be charged extra for any other person accompanying - women trainee and the same charges are applied for the drivers who come with the trainee. The training fees do not include charges for accompanying persons.

Monthly Agricultural Training Program
For Agriculture Officers, Cane Development Officers and Agriculture Graduates working in sugar mills Organized by Agricultural Sciences and Division, VSI

The Institute has initiated the intensive program of a monthly one-day workshop on important need-based themes of sugarcane development for the officers working in the Agriculture department of sugar mills. The participants from sugar mills are actively participating in the workshops and the activity is becoming more and more beneficial in planning and implementation of the development activities in the area of sugar mills. More than 48 workshops have been conducted during the last five years. Considering the importance of this activity, the activity has been continued in the year 2019-20. Month wise themes of workshops decided in a core committee meeting as under:

Workshops will be conducted at VSI Manjari campus (See VSI location).

The fees for each one-day workshop will be Rs. 500/- per participant that includes Lunch and Tea, course material/ stationary(folder, pen, notepad, notes/xeroxing etc.).Interested participants can send the training fees to VSI via Cash payment or Demand Draft (D.D.) in favor of VASANTDADA SUGR INSTITUTE payable at Pune.
