Sugar Statistics

The Statistics & Informatics section was established in 1985-86 to cater sugar statistics and data services to all technical Departments/Sections regarding all aspects on the Maharashtra Sugar Industry and in general on India & World Sugar Industry. The section provide assistance/ guidance to technical personnel for analyzing data collected by them of field/ laboratory research experiments with application of various statistical tools/ models. The section also involved in academics by conducting lectures in Statistics to the students undergoing courses of M.Sc. in Environmental Science and Post Graduate Diploma in Sugar Technology.
