Alcohol Technology & Biofuels - Education

A. Main courses
The department conducts a post-graduate Diploma in Industrial Fermentation and Alcohol Technology (DIFAT) from 1985 and M.Sc. in Wine, Brewing and Alcohol Technology (WBAT)
course affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune from 2010.

B. Short Term Courses
In addition, need based short-term courses in the areas of Alcohol Technology & Biofuels and Effluent Treatment Technologies are conducted.

C. Special Training Programme
The department has conducted special training programme for State Excise and State & central pollution board.
